PATIENT ADVOCACY
OFFICIATING WEDDINGS
MOTIVATIONAL TALKS
Public Speaking: Welcome
SAMPLE
In this clip, I am presiding over a wedding as an ordained officiant (the speech is my original writing).
Public Speaking: Video
I am available for speaking engagements, including officiating weddings and love ceremonies, participating on a panel as a moderator or panelist, being an MC, joining a speaker's bureau or advisory council, and giving motivational talks. I have experience speaking with diverse audiences, including youth, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, patients, healthcare providers, and government officials.
I speak on topics related to social justice, global and public health (both practice and policy), the non-profit sector, patient advocacy, love, art, community, secular spirituality, and identity (e.g., LGBTQ+, BIPOC, South Asian, immigrant or child of immigrants, person with chronic disease/disability).

I have been an Appointee on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS under the Obama Administration, a member of the Speakers Bureau with Community United Against Violence, and a public speaking trainer with Confidence Architects. I am currently a patient advocate on several committees at Stanford Health Care - the Disabilities Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), Founding PFAC, Health Equity Committee, and Covid Vaccine Principles and Prioritization Committee.
